CBS college sports got a highly contested game Saturday afternoon as the No. 5 Lakers of Clayton St. ended the No. 18 Lady Pacers 10 game winning streak. The first conference loss of the season put the Lady Pacers at   8-1. From the opening tipoff the game was nothing short of a nail-biter.  In the first period alone, the lead change hands seven times.            

Pacer's star freshman Kayla Harris made her presence felt knocking down 13 points in the first half and going 6-10 from the field. The Pacers secured a 32-29 lead at the half. The lead would remain close in the second half until the Lakers took a game high 11 point lead with 4:18 remaining in regulation. The Lady Pacers overcame the deficit as Harris dropped two jumpers and then hit two critical free throws, making it a two possession game at 60-56. However, the Lakers would hit four free throws in the final seconds of play to end the game with a final score of 66-60. Harris led all scorers with a career high of 23 points.
