It's that time of year again where we as students need to buckle down and prepare for final exams, write our papers, and study hard. It seems this happens every year after Spring break. Professors are on your back about turning in last minute work, and social life suffers the biggest downslope of all time. You're confined to that little space of four walls you call your room, and all you do is slave to finish work up until the ungodly morning hours.
Then you find yourself waking up 5 minutes before your next class, or 5 minutes until class is over. If college teaches you anything it will teach you how to prioritize your time, guilty pleasures of late night snacking, and hangovers are the worst. Then we find ourselves at the foot of our Professors office explaining our dilemmas like they really care about our irresponsible actions, and were begging to either take a missed test or turn in a late paper.
We live to experience not regret, and if we fail the first time we do better the next. For all of us who slack or procrastinate this time of year it's time to realize all the hard work we have put in up to this point. The late night studying for exams, group projects, and constant quizzes cannot be left to amount to nothing. There is no way we should leave this campus kicking and screaming because of failing grades, or becoming a 5th and/or 6th year senior.
Let's all just fasten our seat beats, take a deep breath, and give this race one last push past the finish line. Into a reigning success of another fruitful semester, or a grasp on our degree that we have put our blood, sweat, and tears into finally achieving.
