Senior communications major Terrence Davis is more than just a 2010 USC Aiken graduate.
Davis has aspired to be a successful entrepreneur in the film and music industry as a director and a disc jockey since 2008. While doing numerous gigs at clubs and parties under the name DJ Greatness, Davis landed the front cover of “Metro City Magazine” in 2009, a publication based in Columbia, S.C. His first independent documentary was “Welcome to the Metro” which concentrated on the start of his career as a DJ and also gave insight on the music scene in Columbia.
Before Davis decided that college was his platform for success, his lifestyle was changed by his aspirations for success.
“Pursuing a successful career in the entertainment industry has definitely changed my life and the person that I am today,” said the soon-to-be graduate. “Growing up, I had to hustle anyway that I could. I made my money by making moves in the street, and after several brushes with law enforcement I had enough. I finally had to make the choice to come to college in order to stray away from all of the negativity.”
