PUB sponsored comedian, Arvin Mitchell on April 20 at 8p.m. in the SAC Mezzanine. Mitchell kept the audience entertained for almost two hours.
The first joke he spoke on was the fact that the first row was empty, because he assumed the students were afraid of being teased.
“I don’t talk about people because I am afraid of getting beat up.” “I was always laughing at Mr. Mitchell’s jokes,” said Ester Poswal, sophomore, Exercise Sports Science Major.
“I loved the joke about the crying baby. It was so funny because he made a silly facial expression while he was telling the story about how to make a baby stop crying. He said to just blow in their face,” said Samone Dicks, junior, Business Management major. Arvin Mitchell says that he loves performing at universities and churches rather than clubs. He says, “that the club atmosphere is too smoky and it does not pay as well as performing at universities and churches”.
