Preview of Ironman 2

Iron Man 2 is the sequel to the 2008 original film, and the second film in the super hero’s trilogy.

The film was directed by Jon Favreau and will star Robert Downey Jr. who played Iron Man in the first production. The scheduled release date for the movie is May 7 through Paramount Studios.

In the second installment, Tony Stark is under pressure from the U.S. government, the press, and the general public to share the secrets about his technology to the nation’s military.  Since Stark feels this confidential information may slip into the wrong hands, he remains quiet about the details behind the Iron Man armor. 

Some of the antagonists whom Stark will be pitted against are Whiplash, played by Mickey Rourke, and corporate rival Justin Hammer, played by Sam Rockwell.  Other Marvel characters that will be making their debut in the next Iron Man film are Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, and another actor, Don Cheadle, who replaced Terrence Howard’s role of Colonel James Rhodes.  More information about the film will be available toward the release of the film.
